Do you find yourself with a Double Ticket and without a Date? Or, do you find yourself Single, and without a Ball to go to? Plans laid and Tickets purchased in March may come adrift by May! This is a resource for Damsels in Distress, and Knights Errant, who need the timely intervention of Cupid, with arrows...

There's still time to meet someone special, and arrange to go to a Ball with them; this may help to put people in touch promptly. This is for Invitations and Romance: we believe that invitations should be given, not sold; and that the prospective Gentleman and Lady should take tea together before they dance.

Here's how it works:

• If you have a double ticket, list it here.
• If you would like to be invited to a Ball, list yourself here too.
• Create a profile to describe yourself, if you haven't already done so.
• All the people here are now known to be single, and have a common interest in May Balls...
• Look through the list, to see if there's someone you'd like to meet. Chat to them. Don't be shy!
• Have a drink together, and decide whether your next date will be at the Ball. Good luck...
