| I've been told that I'm social by Swedish standards (but that doesn't say much...). Maybe that's why I've left my country so many times? I'm still trying to get used to British small-talk, though (I mean, isn't there a limit to how many times one can talk about the weather in a single day??). Somehow, I've managed to remain a European federalist despite living a year under the burdens of Belgian bureaucracy. I'm still not convinced that Flemish is a language, but feel free to scold me about that (I really have no right to talk given that I speak a Swedish-Danish hybrid dialect, which is difficult to comprehend for Swedes and Danes alike...). I'd like to think that I've been able to retain some sense of humour even after living in Germany, but I guess that's not up to me to decide. In general, I think that comedy peaked with the Marx Brothers (or possible the Holy Grail). I realise now that this has just been one long rant. Apologies; I promise that I can say positive things as well :) |
